Sheltering tree...........

Morning everyone,
I'm back today to share a couple of cards that we are making at this friday's workshop.
I LOVE this stamp collection,
 The Sheltering tree

It's just £22.95
and there are 14 stamps in total
it's a Photopolymer stamp set, which is perfect for the two step stamping technique.

I love that this is an all season stamp set, it means you can get so much use out of this one!

It's so quick and easy to create a simple but pretty card

and here's a wintery card using the same set!

**I have a few places remaining on my workshop this friday, it's not too late to join us,
just drop me a quick email to confirm your place,**

you can find the details by clicking my classes and events button at the top of my blog.

Have a lovely day folks, and stay warm! It's a bit chilly out there!

Let's get away..........Project Life

So here's my first step in to Project Life!
I've always appreciated the work that goes in to a scrapbook page, but not the time it takes!
Especially being more of a cardmaker,
I don't really want another hobby to take the time away from that.
So Project Life is perfect!
It really does take no time at all to create great looking pages.

I chose to start with the smaller 6 x 8 album pages
less daunting I think than a big 12 x 12 page spread.
But I'm hoping as my PL journey continues I will feel comfortable creating larger pages.

These are two of my Venice pages from our trip to Italy last year
and honestly took no time at all!
It's such a quick but satisfying process.......
We had a lovely day trip! that's one ticked off my bucket list!

The new Let's get away card collection is perfect for our trip !

you get 100 double sided cards for £13.50

And here is the accessory pack that coordinates
it really is fab value £8.95 and packed with stickers,
acetate overlays, washi tape, alphabet stickers and fancy shmancy paper clips!

If you are interested in starting your own Project Life album
whether it's to remember a holiday, a new arrival in the family, a wedding
or just to record life in general,
I am starting a NEW Project Life club in Skipton this month

From the herd...........and a little tip

Hello there, todays card that I'm sharing is from the new Spring/summer catalogue,
it's one of those that didn't grab my attention straight away.
You may find that, the more you browse you will notice different items will stand out and this was one of them for me.

It's called From the herd £14.95
I think that's such good value considering there are 13 stamps in total!
Look at all those sentiments! A really useful set...
I had a lovely morning yesterday watercolouring this image using the ink pads, colouring is so theraputic!

My little tip today..............when I'm colouring an image like this, once I've finished colouring in i grab a black fineliner pen and trace round the outlines, sometimes the outline can seem to fade? By going over the lines with a black pen it will make the image pop! but you need quite a steady hand and take your time.

For the rickety fence I used the Hardwood background stamp and cut it down into strips and inked the edges .....it's a versatile stamp!

*****You can find a list of all the products I used at the bottom of this post
and by clicking on the picture it will take you to them in my online shop*****
